Content Developer for Investment Map Platform, Kyrgyzstan

ACDI/VOCA is seeking a Content Developer to provide short-term technical assistance to the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (IPPA) of the Kyrgyz Republic to develop content for the Investment Map Platform, which will be a unified online investment and trade promotion platform. The Investment Map Platform content will be prioritized according to the Kyrgyz Republic’s unique value proposition for investors for potential investments.

The Investment Map Platform will include an interactive map connected to up-to-date market data, tools for market assessment, and promotional materials, as well as assessments, strategies, and online resources for investment and export promotion activities targeting international investors and businesses. The assignment will require approximately 4 months, including preparation and content-finalization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create content offering visual and text elements aligned with each page of the Investment Map Platform.

· In consultation with the IPPA and other stakeholders, develop a pilot clearinghouse for investment opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic.

· Develop a thorough and up-to-date “Digital Library” of reports, market research, and investment-related guides.

· Produce a set of 6-8 factsheets for investors addressing various political, economic, and investment climate issues.

· Propose a plan for routine updating and sustainability of the Investment Map’s content.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Demonstrated experience in the field of investment promotion, including identifying key investment opportunities and linking potential investors with the information and resources they need to move forward with an investment in private sector opportunities in one or more sectors.

· Evidence of previous successful work similar to content development for the Investment Map Platform, inclusive of such activities as developing new, multi-lingual content of interest to potential investors; creating profiles of potential investment opportunities and potential investors; and integrating additional resources produced by domestic, regional, and international sources.

· Proven experience collaborating with all types of investment stakeholders, including investment promotion agencies, associations of private enterprises, companies that are strong candidates for outside investment, and various types of individual and institutional investors.

· A record of sustainability of project development; evidence of lasting results or impact of prior initiatives.

· Strong analytical capabilities in a range of disciplines (business, investment, private commercial law, marketing, etc.).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Commitment to and strong record of client engagement and troubleshooting.

· Willingness to travel domestically.

· Fluent capabilities in all language of pertinence to this activity: Russian, Kyrgyz, and English.
